Special offer for current users of the Overtime Expert

After more than 20 years of delivering overtime expertise in an installable computer program, we have moved the Overtime Expert's expertise online.

What does this mean to existing Overtime Expert users?

First, your version of the Overtime Expert will always be up-to-date. Instead of running a program installed on your personal computer, you will now connect to the Overtime Expert using your favorite web browser. The version hosted on our web server will always be the latest version including all the latest FLSA tests and regulations. As we add new features to the software, they will be immediately available to you. You no longer need to wonder whether the version of the Overtime Expert you are using is current.

Second, you no longer have any software to install or maintain. One of our users' frustrations has been the difficulty of scheduling software installations and upgrades with busy organizational IT departments. Because the Overtime Expert is now a web application, there is nothing to install. This is extremely popular with both our users and the IT departments that support them. If your hard drive crashes or your computer is replaced there is no longer anything that needs to be installed or activated. You simply point your web browser at the Overtime Exemption Expert's URL (http://www.mindd.com/OEE) and go back to work.

Third, you have access to the Overtime Expert's expertise wherever you have an internet connection. You are no longer tied to the computer it was installed on. Now you can work from a conference room, a co-worker's desk, one of your organization's remote locations, a hotel room, a trade show, or anywhere you have access to an internet connection.

Fourth, the Overtime Expert is now platform independent. Previous versions of the Overtime Exemption Expert were Microsoft® Windows®-based, meaning that users working on Macs or Linux-based computers were out of luck. Because the Overtime Exemption Expert, is a web application, it will work equally well from Macs, Linux-based computers, and Windows®-based computers.

Are there other new features?

In addition to the standard overtime tests that we updated in response to regulation changes in 2004, we have added a number of Public Agency tests that you may find useful.

Additionally, all tests that you run are now automatically stored on the Overtime Expert server. This means they are available to you for re-running, re-evaluating, re-downloading, and re-printing.

Finally, we have changed our downloadable format from Richtext (rtf) to Microsoft® Word® (doc) format. This allows users to download and directly integrate Overtime Expert's exemption tests into other documents using the world's most commonly-used document format.

How do I begin using the online version of the Overtime Expert?

After purchasing or renewing your Overtime Expert user license, simply point your web browser to http://www.mindd.com/OEE. Click on the "Signin" link, then click on the "Create Account" button. You will be asked for your name, your organization's name, your email address (which becomes your OEEonline user ID), and you will be asked to create a password. You will then see a screen that asks for your registration number, (you'll find it on your order) and company name. Please enter your company name as you would like it to appear on your Overtime Expert reports.

That is all there is to it. Until you sign out from one computer and/or sign in from another computer, you will not be asked to enter your user name or password again.

How much does the online version of the Overtime Expert cost?

The price to renew the Overtime Expert Maintenance and Support Plan is $149. You can order using our online store (you must enter your registration number when it is requested) or you may call us at 801-782-5544. We accept all major credit cards on our online store or by phone. If you prefer that we invoice you, please call us at 801-782-5544.
